Tennessee Songwriters Week

The Boones Creek Opry is excited to announce that we are a host location for the Johnson City Qualifying Round for Tennessee Songwriters Week along with Visit Johnson City. The event will be at the Boones Creek Opry (632 Hales Chapel Road) on February 2 at 6 PM. We are actively searching for participants to compete.

Tennessee Songwriters Week supports music venues, supports songwriters with live performances in all genres of music, drives visitation, and inspires travelers to experience the state's music stories, history, attractions, and venues. Tennessee Songwriters Week 2024 will kick off with qualifying rounds in the first two weeks of February. Select songwriters from qualifying rounds will advance to seven pre-determined showcase events in Memphis, Franklin, Gallatin, Chattanooga, Knoxville, Gatlinburg, and Johnson City on Feb. 19-25, 2023. Special events will also take place statewide.
