The Boones Creek Opry is excited to announce that we are a host location for the Johnson City Qualifying Round for Tennessee Songwriters Week along with Visit Johnson City. The event will be at the Boones Creek Opry (632 Hales Chapel Road) on February 5, 2026 at 6 PM.​

 

Tennessee Songwriters Week supports music venues, supports songwriters with live performances in all genres of music, drives visitation, and inspires travelers to experience the state's music stories, history, attractions, and venues. Tennessee Songwriters Week 2026 will kick off with qualifying rounds in the first two weeks of February. Select songwriters from qualifying rounds will advance to seven pre-determined showcase events across the state.
